window lock

Does anyone know if there are window locks on the market as my two year old can open his while he`s in the bottom bunk as last sunday morning i found a phone charger, three nappies,a puzzle and the dogs bed outside his window he denied all knowledge but i know he did it.

Can you not tighten the 'twirly knob' on the stays sufficiently that even if he manages to open the catch the window won't actually push open? That's what we used to do when our sons were small. That's presuming you have the sort of stays with the 'twirly knob' on!

Thanks Val i will try the twirly knobs they are fairly tight but another half turn might surfice.we`re off to new forest in 2 weeks and if he come`s past the window on a donkey i`ll have to glue it.thanks

I hope it works then - and you don't see him riding off into the distance!
I would have thought that someone made window locks for caravans, but I suppose the safety aspect of getting out in the event of a fire is a consideration!
I'll put your question to my Other Half, who manages to 'bodge' something for almost every occasion, and I'm sure if he sets his mind to it he'll come up with something!
