Window scratches

I have just bought my first caravan and I have noticed scratches to the front window how do I remove them?

Hello Nick

Depending on how deep the scratches are it is recommended that you use Tcut on light scratches,take your time doing this as its not that easy,a small amount of Tcut on the cloth and a small circular motion then let it dry and buff off will remove them,if its a really deep one then you may have to replace the window.

remember what the Sgt. said on Hill street Blues

"Lets be careful out there"

That also applies to the TCut applied to your windows. Take it steady and if you get after doing it a window that shows all the small circles, then dilute the t Cut with a small amount of water and start again. The circles will disappear.

Hi Nick. A little tip from the trade: Start off with the mildest polish you can find and work up to the harder stuff if the mild stuff doesn't do it.

Your first try should be with Fenwicks perspex window polish/scratch remover.It comes in a little yellow tube from your caravan accessory shop.

It feels as smooth as silk to the touch but it's great.I've removed etched vin numbers from caravan windows with wet&dry sandpaper and then buffed it up with Fenwick's.
