WINDOW

Hi I'm a newbie, and forgive me if this isn't the right place to ask for help to find a replacement window for our year 2000 Avondale Eagle, offside front side window, we've just been to where we store it for winter and found a chunk broken off, as if someone has pulled on it , it was on the floor, as you can imagine we are fuming but as you leave a van at your own risk we don't have any option but to try and find another window. Please do any of you know where we can find a replacement around the midlands area.Hazel

you can get one from www.eecoltd.co.uk they will make a copy of your window, but this means removing and sending it away.i had three made by them for the front of our old van.they were very good but slightly undersize on the overall length (by making copy).this meant raising the fixings for the closing clasp lock a little higher.takes about two weeks and they sort out all carrage.you measure the opening for the window in the caravan and not the window itself.not cheap.

miriad was the original supplier for avondale. so if you want the exact same window contact any dealer with all the details for the caravan, position of window and sizes and they will be able to get the window from miriad, but they are not cheap.
