I recently needed to open the front window of my Elddis Xplorer 495 and when putting the window back the right (as you look at the van from the front) fell apart and 2 little things popped out. I have no idea how they go back together, Can anyone help please?

I have an Xplorer with the same window but I'm sorry I can't help you with your problem.

However, I just wanted to say that we have avoided opening the front window - nice as it would be - because it puts too much strain on the hinge bar at the top and can result in damp coming in under it. Been there and fortunately got it fixed under warranty.

I hope you can work out how to get it back in place.

It is rather a large window, bough the van second hand and there is a crack to the top right of the hinge, which I need to fix, hence why I need to open the window fully. There was about 8cm of water in the window :(

Sorry to hear that. I found it really hard to open and close with one of my struts sticking at one point so couldn't close it properly. Managed to jiggle it about a bit and it closed.

Good luck
