Bosch Aerotwin regularly win or are placed very highly in comparative tests -I've used them for decades with excellent results. What is the best brand of windscreen wiper out there at the moment 🤔
+1 for Bosch Aerotwin.Bosch Aerotwin regularly win or are placed very highly in comparative tests -I've used them for decades with excellent results.
Plus one. Used them for years with no problems.Bosch Aerotwin regularly win or are placed very highly in comparative tests -I've used them for decades with excellent results.
Probably at a higher price than excellent after market ones.Whatever make the main agent for the particular make sell as replacements is a pretty safe bet.
Generally dealers sell parts branded by their manufacturer franchise, regardless of who actually makes them.I did say whatever make they sell, not buy them at the main agents!

You must have a lot of rain where you live.I recently replaced wipers by Bosch and Valeo both made in china, I asked myself if perhaps made by same factory,I replace wipers beginning of Spring and end of August (unless deemed unserviceable in between )
I replace my front wipers at 10-12,000 miles and the rear wiper at 30,000 - but it also has a "winter valet" in the autumn which puts a water repellant coating on the windscreen which is very good at shifting the water without the wipers at motorway speed.I recently replaced wipers by Bosch and Valeo both made in china, I asked myself if perhaps made by same factory,I replace wipers beginning of Spring and end of August (unless deemed unserviceable in between )
Does this cause a problem when the sun is low refracting off the screen. Like a bit smeary?I replace my front wipers at 10-12,000 miles and the rear wiper at 30,000 - but it also has a "winter valet" in the autumn which puts a water repellant coating on the windscreen which is very good at shifting the water without the wipers at motorway speed.
What do you use for the winter valet?I replace my front wipers at 10-12,000 miles and the rear wiper at 30,000 - but it also has a "winter valet" in the autumn which puts a water repellant coating on the windscreen which is very good at shifting the water without the wipers at motorway speed.
Not that I've noticed - although on one occasion the treatment was applied during very light drizzle, had a big smeary patch so had to be removed and reapplied.Does this cause a problem when the sun is low refracting off the screen. Like a bit smeary?
Bit far for me to travel. I thought you were using something like RainX or equivalent.I use a valeter! http://www.definitiveshine.com/index/
I think it's the same sort of thing as RainX but I don't know what brand he uses.Bit far for me to travel. I thought you were using something like RainX or equivalent.
We have a routine to use the washers just before driving off the first time a car is used that day. It tackles any grit or Sahara sand that has been deposited. If the car has not been used for a few days it’s not unknown for us the sprinkle a kettle of water over the screen. Also use a good quality screen wash too. Expect about 10000 miles on the wiper or two years whichever comes first. Don’t suffer scratched screens.I find it good practice to replace wipers in spring due to the grit and salt used over the winter, changed again end of Autumn, it's easier to replace wipers blades than have marks polished out
