Windy Hill Caravan Park

Has anybody recently stayed at Windy Hill caravan park in Pembrokeshire. I will be staying there for the August bank holiday week and have been reading mixed reviews. I would welcome reviews from members of this forum, as I find the replies give a more honest reflection of the topic asked, rather than an individuals own experience.
Best regards, Lappy

Dusty,

That is where the mixed reviews came from. I too find UK Campsites useful, it's just that some reviews seem to be given on a too personal level and when people take that route, then I don't think that gives a fair reflection of relevant site that is being reviewed.

Best regards, Lappy

Surely reviews are personal, if you like it then favourable review, if you have poor experience then unfavourable review. There are bound to be different opinions,............ What 'fits' one doesn't necessarily fit another.

Hi Lappy

I always look at the reviewers other reports. That gives me an indication of their expectations. One of the negative reporters also downgraded two other sites. Some people see things as important whilst others don't.
Sorry but I have no first hand experience of Windy Hill. I hope you enjoy it.

Whilst I agree that reviews are personal, the point I was trying to make is some people want to pay the price for a 3 star site, but expect 5 star facilities and then go on to slag the place off when they don't get their own way.

Best regards, Lappy
