Wine Glasses

We have recently purchased a Bailey Unicorn 2 Valencia Caravan, which has a lovely "Drinks Cabinet". However the clips for the wine glasses are very small, and we are struggling to find any wineglasses with thin enough stems that fit.

Has anyone else managed to find any that fit?

Thin glass stems and caravans don't go together Imo.
Either wrap your glasses for safe travel and then put in your cabinet once on site.
Or like us buy plastic or melamine. Their stems are tough and should tolerate the clips.
Maybe get bigger clips?

As an interesting aside Bailey tell me not to travel with the microwave glass turntable in situ.We store it under the bed clothes.
I'd have thought a wine glass was more delicate.

Lunar say the same (or rather the microwave oven manufacturer does). It's the same when you buy a kitchen oven - the glass plate is held in with rigid transit foam. SWMBO has kept the foam and leaves the plate in the oven for travelling, holding it in place with the foam. I believe the manufactures are playing safe in case the plate jumps around in transit and either damages the plate itself or the thin inner wall of the oven allowing microwaves to leak. It could also damage the turntable rollers.

In our last 2 caravans I've used the usual standard metal wine glass clips and budget wine glasses from any of the supermarkets have fitted OK (see picture if this link works!)

Perhaps Bailey use something different? If so, maybe you could change to this type. Similarly, on our last 2 caravans, we've always left the turntable in the microwave - we just wrap it up in a couple of layers of bubble wrap and have never had a problem in 7 years.
