UK caravans are generally built to Grade 2 insulation standards which requires the design, insulation and heating to work effectively at 0 degrees. Properly winterised vans are required to function down to -20.

The insulation and heating of a UK caravan might just be adequate at -20 but the fresh water and waste water systems would freeze. On-board insulated tanks, water and waste, would be needed to achieve -20.

Cheers Roger. I thought as much - it's mostly water related as far as the UK goes.
