wirral counrty park

hi anyone stayed at the caravan club site wirral country park is it in a nice area and have you got good views from the site and what to do in the area

thanks

I have not stayed there but i live only a short distance away. The site is near to the dee Estuary and can be very windy as the wind off the Irish sea comes in. Infact along that coast there is windsurfing at Hoylake sandsurfing (or whatever its called), kite surfing etc.

Look at a place called Manley Mere a little in land near to a place called Mickle Trafford.

Its a man made like with windsurfing sailing Kayaks to hire etc, theres elec hook ups and a shower block.

www.sail-sports.co.uk Here the web site.

I can suggest things to do depending on what you want to see, if you have children etc. Let me know

I have stayed on the site and it is nice for walks as it is part of a large park

normal caravan type park nothing special but I like that. Just relaxing and drinking and reading and walking watching tele.
