just been down to woodhall spa about a month back canny site but half of it is under trees and the other is open but when we were there it rained and we were ankle deep in water went and asked the warden if we could move at this time like it was to late to dark but said we can move in the morning and we did. hard site to find like poorly signposted if you loking for moor lane that is the main drag to site travel with caution after you pass the signpost for picnic area from horncastle watch out for moor lane turn left in to some houses and follow rd to site.
toilets not bad just 3 and 3 showers cleanish, pub 20 min walk down the rd and if you like the lancaster bomber and spitfire there just based down the rd at coningsby and the new typoon, local old inn where the orignal dambusters drank names signed on the beams the blue bell inn at tattershall thorpe,local super market co,op and at horncastle tesco and sainsbury.and if you have a dog its best to walk along the lane up to the forestry thats about it hope it helps
