Can just say that the Pepper Corn site is a first for me.
I intend, during March to go to a CL In Cornwell for three weeks in March and Pepper Corn will be a stop over on the way home. Unless there is another suggestion. So many memories in that part of the country.

How about the April 18th 19th weekends for everyone.

Dave I have been told of a small cl, the Peak View at rooksbridge, BS26 2UA
Nice little pub around the corner. Good for a stop over, going there two weeks time on the way to Gwithian, near Hayle.

Kev, the pub is 300 yards away and looked a very easy walk to me. Have I missed something?

Please let me know on here if you wish to join in .

Many thanks to Mel for the location setting.

Dave it’s about an hour west of the M5 .

Thanks also to our Hutch for his investigations 🍺

Just had a quick look along the road and saw no footpath except on the bridge itself, just wondering how busy it would be walking back late at night in the dark.

Now made worst with Hutch wanting to start at lunchtime :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

But suppose we are all grown ups so should be able to manage the 300 yards ;)

I'll ask the site owners tomorrow. If it's dangerous shall we look elsewhere?

I contacted the site owners about the foot paths from their site to the Chainbridge Public house.

Here’s their Rose reply. Note the photos and footpath.
All seems safe and good to me.
Are you all happy we go with Pont Kemsy?

The preferred date weekend for the Woosiefest is 18th /19 th April 2026. I and Lady Villa will book Thursday 16 th April , leaving Thursday 23rd April 2026 , 7 nights in total.
We are going for an FSP.
I will book our slot once everyone else confirms.
As previously please all make your own bookings.

Rose is aware we are the Woosies . She knows we are on Practical Caravan Forum and welcomes us.
Look forward to our gathering👍👍

Cheers

Dustydog

Note from Rose Jones, Pont Kemsy Caravan Park.

Hi Dustydog.

Yes there is a footpath from our site. I have attached a copy of our map which shows our site and the footpath displayed across the road. This footpath takes you across the B4598 and then across the bridge directly to the Chainbridge inn.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best wishes
Rose Jones
