So flu jab was cancelled, cant re book now until clear and then I have to wait 28 days before they will entertain me.
I also have had email and text asking me to book my Covid booster!!!
So Mags now has it (so even that would have prevented us from the fest)
Son has it as well, he works with me but has his own family abode.
Oh and Sister and brother in law both have it, having just returned from a weeks coach trip around bonnie Scotland, (havent seen them for a few weeks though so not my doing!!)
Just a reminder to you all it's still out there..............KEEP SAFE.
Hi Kev A busy time with this bug, hoping that you and your family are soon fully recovered and can then can have the immunisations to enable you to enjoy the winter period.

There will be a good bunch to meet you when you get there. Longest tow for me too for a couple of years 197 miles. Just getting the caravan set up ready to go. Picked it up at lunchtime . Must not forget the water hose and aqua roll valve.
And your wastemaster 👍
I knew you were talking about the beer DD

The directions to the site could be clearer. Both us and Steve missed it. If you are coming from Thirsk/Pickering on the A170 turn right IMMEDIATELY after the large car sales garage as you come into Snainton. Then crawl down the short road and keep looking to your right. The entrance to the site is not huge and was obscured by parked cars.
If you are coming on theA170 from the Scarborough side of Snainton, pass the turning to the B1258 Malton and then take the first left IMMEDIATELY before the car sales garage then crawl slowly down the road looking right.
Good luck
Mel

Our Garmin Camper satnav couldn't find the lane that this site is in.
Pickering Road East comes up ok but Pickering Road West, which is the address of this site is apparently the little lane between The Coachman pub and the used car sales place which my satnav couldn't find.
Interestingly, Derek Matthewson of TV's Bangers and Cash has a small depot/ garage almost opposite the caravan park.
It's not featured on the TV programmes, it looks as though he stores bits and pieces there.

I will be using A1258 got the site entrance imprinted on my mind from google. Funny enough that little bit of road by the site entrance shows on street view but you can't get the little man to go down it, past the camp entrance .

We messed up. Missed the caravan alternative route avoiding Sutton bank . Went via Ampleforth. Two 1.10s no problem ,. Take it easy and bring levelling timbers.🍺🍺

I know the turning well as I went up to the site and the pub earlier in the year, but I came through Pickering which is a very easy tow. My caravan SatNav, takes me along the B1258. So will make a last minute decision.

The power of the Woosies is rising. A swiftish trial of the local hostelry got the thumbs up. More tomorrow. Again the reduced size turns the photo through 90degs🤬
