Wow! What weather we're having.

Forecast continues to be hot and sunny for most places in UK for the forseeable future

. We've all waited so long for this hot spell.
We've got a week to go before we're off in the van again - really hope the sunshine continues for everyone else about to go away too.

Snow next week

As we are from Africa this is like being at home except cooler!

The sad part about the heat is that we cannot use the caravan as it will probably be too hot for our dogs.
The caravan has ALDE heating so no blown air system like with the Truma system. With the Truma system we could use it in summer to blow cool air around the caravan.
At the moment we have to rely on the Omnuivent and the small portable fan we have in the caravan, but that does not give ample ventilation so no ways could we leave the animals in the caravan even with loads of water for even a short time while we go shopping.

Our van comes out of storage tomorrow, to get it ready for our next break

All the signs are that the hot, sunny weather will hold for a while yet, thank goodness.
