Can anybody please give us feedback / comments if they have stayed at Wyatts Covert site just outside Denham. we are planning to use it as a short stopover for getting into london on route back north without having to go right into Crystal Palace etc,or could anyone recommend other sites that could fit the bill of being within easy distance of getting into london or windsor etc.

thanks Pip

Stayed here some years ago, it was nice then but I think its been refurbished or something sinse. The only draw back, if you can call it that, is the airfield nearby. You can get a bit of noise in the mornings around 8.30ish, maybe a bit earlier. We didn't find it any bother. We drove the car to the nearest underground and would bye a day pass. It was the best way we could think of for getting around. There is the railway station at Denham where you can catch a train in if you want to, its nearer than the underground and faster I think but there's a lot of walking when you get into the city.

we found this the best of the london sites, the station at denham has attendent parking and the trains to london are about every 15min and are the overland carrage type. cheap combind family day tickets for the train in and all london transport. the airfield is not that bad and is worth a walk down to view whats going on. easy drive to hampton court and windsor. if you tire of london then the chilterns are with in easy reach. there are a couple of good pubs serving real ale and food in denham village and the village is worth a walk round. sadly its a drive through the town back towards the motorway.

Stayed here just before Christmas, usual Caravan Club high quality... Cleanest facilities bar none.. Friendly staff and probably only downside was the Airfield but nothing that is very small gripe... No overnight noise, just starts in the the morning..
