x-trail towing mirror suggestions

Any suggestions on a set of towing mirrors for an X-trail please? Just picked up a van, thought I would get away without as its quite wide but just for extra safety I think I would like to get a set so any suggestions.

The law says you must have a good view to the rear, so if you towing a caravan or trail wider than your towing vehicle extended mirrors will probably be needed to comply with the law.

Mirrors must not extend more than 200mm outside the widest part of your outfit. Adjust your mirrors so that you have a good viev down both sids of your caravan.

Extended mirrors must be removed or folded iiward when are using your towcar without the caravan.

Most shops will let you see if they fit before you part with your cash.

Stephen, I got a good set of mirrors for my X-Trail from Barrons. I havent got the name of them at hand at the moment but I will let you know later today when I can get to my garage so watch this space.

I have been using the Smat mirror with convex lens that clamps onto the door mirror for many years the last four being on the X-Trail

They are quick to fit and almost vibration free

Milenco also do a similar one
