Trevor, we cant wait to go away again at xmas (only came back yesterday from a lomg w/e) Were going to Dolverton cc site on exmoor for 10 days.

Worked for a food retail company for 25 years+ and only ever had 2/3 days off at xmas. Now I drive a HGV for a living I can have as much Time off at xmas as I want so we now take a good long holiday

Hi Trevor

The big problem with going away at Xmas is forgeting

to book early enough,we live in Southampton and the two

big sites we use are Sandy Balls or Bashley Park in the

New Forest. We are booked in Bashley from 27th Dec to

the New Year, last year we took some lights and a small

tree, to enter into the spirit of the thing,

and felt distinctly under dressed,so this year we are

going with something suitably tacky. We look foward to

Xmas break more each year ,now that our kids have kids.

Just make sure you take the right gear, for the time of

year.

Missed Out ! We were booked for Broadway over the New Year but due to ......my wife being ill.....my mother being ill.....the dogs being ill.....the boiler breaking down Christmas Day at 9AM and not repaired till New Years eve, we had to cancel, we did so Boxing day so that others could take up the chance of a break, now it is back to work Monday with loads of problems I already know about to deal with before I even get back. I am peeved !! I bet they all had a great time at Broadway, ah well, there is always next year !
