hi all..

can anyone recommend a great campsite to spend the coming xmas or new yr on..i know its a long way off yet, but i want to book early..last yr we went to hoburne bashley in the new forest and it was a great site ..instead of trawling through brochures i thought i would ask all the good folk of the site..we will be going with another family so would like a site that family orientated..

thanx in advance

Darrell - you have not stated what part of the country you live (although good Welsh name) or how far you wish to travel. Fontegarry Park near Barry in south Wales generally put on an excellent Christmas week for both the young and not so young. This includes the new year bash.

A fella I work with goes to Lockerbie every Christmas and New Year. He always goes with another couple of friends in a couple more vans and he reckons he has a ball. Not sure of the name of the site but there cant be many in Lockerbie.
