Hi all
last week I privately bought a 97 Balley Caprice, usual bumf - good battery etc.
Well I think it's duff, what do you think?
On board charger output 13.15v
Battery (110AH) is acepting charge to about 12.65v
With the battery disconected and with the meter attached the output voltage drops by 0.01 every few seconds.
With two lights on the voltage drops below 12v
There is too much fluid in the resovours so my guess is that it was over filled in hope?!?
This would not have come to light except for me and she who will be nameless having a blazzing argument in the street about which corner to watch while I reversed into the garden LOL. (my bets are that you've been there). Anyway I bought a mover and fitted it(enduro). It only works for a few moments, Bleeps and cuts out! The flashing lights says: low battery but when I checked the guage it said OK! (in the green but see above)
It is already costing too much money to kit out (relative newbies) so I do not want to buy a reconditioner charger and then have to buy a battery - hence the question!
