It is actually quite shocking how Log books , dealers figures and plates can all be out or all say different weights

hmy:
Doesn't help when you are trying to sort out what Caravan your vehicle can tow
or
what Vehicle you need to tow a certain Caravan
As much as we liked the 554 and 570
we have put them in the liked but are discarded pile.
They cost more anyway so the difference in price we can use else where on a mover or Awning or both and we would have more slack on the weight .
We have 4 Dealer special versions of the 4FB to look at it and they are the only ones which make our cut.
An easier van to manage
We figure an easier match to manage but do what we want it to do
We have looked at and considered other Brands but the 4BF ticks most of the requirements.
Tow vehicles again we have looked at and considered but the Yeti seems to fit us. So will be looking at either the 140 or 170 bhp
I have figured out Matching an outfit is as much as finding what suits you as putting together something that is legal or falls within the 85% and doesn't go beyond the 100%
Personally with all these figures being all over the place I would rather have something which works well for us, is safe and falls well within the legal limits and no doubts about it being a legal outfit.
We were just going to just get a 2 berth End washroom van which can be towed by most family cars which would have been quite easy, a lot cheaper
Use the Octavia for now and get a Yeti Later on was plan A
Adding a fixed bed to the mix added a whole pile of "fun" trying to find what fits
We like the Yeti it is a great tow vehicle a very useful solo vehicle and it is our tow vehicle of choice.
Very capable not imposing , doesn't break the bank 4x4 that just gets on with it no fuss or drama :cheer:
