After trawling round many dealers and caravan shows it began to dawn on me I could not afford a 2005 elite trekker without getting into far too much debt.
I spoke to a couple of dealers who said I had left it too late to find a 2004 model. After more phone calls I found a dealer with TWO vans in stock. The bad news he was in Somerset~I'm in North Yorkshire.
After the usual haggling over the phone, I took the plunge and ordered the van, paying my deposit by visa. This was an especilly brave [or stupid] move as I also had a part ex.
Two weeks later I dropped off my Eccles Emerald and picked up my new twin axle.
The deal went to plan, my part ex approved and best of all the new van was in A1 condition. The sales team were excellent and did all they could for me leaving me with a good feeling inside as I drove back up the M5.
The dealer? SOMERSET CARAVANS. GREAT PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH.
Now about my warranty claim....!
