Yuasa Battery

Hi,

Following on from a previous thread I found out that my caravan battery has seen its best day. Looking to purchase a new one I have seen a Yuasa 115 amp battery. Only concern is that my current Battery is 110amp. Does anyone have any experience of these batteries?

Hi Rob,

I don't know if this is much help but I used to have a Honda motorbike that was fitted with a 12 volt Yuasa battery.

It was quite small but for its size worked well.

I had the 'bike for 5 years and never any battery trouble.

I don't think I would worry too much.

Many thanks Ron.

I have heard and seen these batteries before and I believe they are built by Lucas. I am still a little unsure of the 115amp versus the 110amp that I have now.

Rob, the AH rate is no problem, it will just last a bit longer in use than a 110AH battery before needing chgarging.

It will still supply 12v.

Great stuff. Many thanks for your help!
We use Yuasa batteries in work all the time they are the ( security) industry standard for standby use. I presume their leisure use batteries will be of similar quality.
