"Zbungle"'s corner steadies

In September paper magazine a mention of corner steadies. I am so old I remember when Carlight caravans had steadies where you pulled the handle, they went down, then you rotated the handle (similar to activating Status 530 aerial) which 'screwed' them down firmer. On leaving, unscrew a little, then pull 'em up.

Are we both of a 'certain age' Peter? I remember seeing these quick release mechanisms on caravans long, long ago and I also remember similar systems being fitted to the bench vices we used in metalwork lessons at school (now that WAS long time ago!)

I tow-hired in '58, bought in '59, and haven't stopped.
