Zell am See in Austria

Hi, we are booked to stay at the Seecamp site at Zell am See in Austria and wondered if anyone had any feedback from a stay there

Hi Andy

We did'nt stay at Seecamp but at the other end of Zell Am See in Sportcamp Woflergut. We've walked through your booked site and had coffee in the reception lounge area, both us well impressed. I believe they have direct access to the water edge or have to pay a launch fee? fishing is by license available in tackle shop in Zell or I suspect from reception.

MUST DO's:

Visit the glacier of Kaprun

Drive the Grossglockner Pass, We drove up into snow in July.. brilliant.

Do a "sound of music" coach tour in Saltzberg, the hills are a alive...

Austria is well worth the long drive down.
