I post on a lot of various forums but this one has got to be the slowest by far! Puts me off posting!

We love this site as it's set in lovely quiet countryside and only 40 minutes from home. You pitch in the orchard amongst the apple trees and electric hook ups seen to be more towards the centre of the site. Owners are very relaxed - "pitch where you want, leave when you want". The toilets...

Can I load an avatar via photobucket? All my smaller photos suitable for avatars are stored in my photobucket account. But the box does not let me copy and past the photobucket link into it!

Glad it's not just me who is annoyed at the traffic today! Drove to work this morning (M5 Devon to Exeter Airport) got stuck behind someone on the slip road entering the motorway doing 40mph! Streams of traffic in slow lane (including caravans, lorries) having to pull out to allow this numpty...

Sounds great. We've never been further up than Ullapool so maybe we'll venture up top next year.

CaraJane, Just google images of Scarista and Luskentyre beaches on the Isle of Harris, looks absolutely stunning. Hope to do some paddling there next year!

Thanks Dustydog. I know what you mean about the abandoned cars etc, some parts of Skye are like that too. I think we will stick to Harris and maybe head down to the Uists and also Barra. We don't have any particular schedule so if we find it a bit drab out there we will go back to the...

I'm a little bit worried by Dustydog's comments now! We have planned a 3 week trip of the outer hebrides for next May in a motorhome. The scenery from photos of Harris looks amazing, and so do the beaches. We've done Skye many times so fancied something different. Was it really that bad...

I agree with the above two. Minnows would be perfect for you if you have dogs as it has direct access onto the canal towpath so ideal for dog walks!

I agree with Lisa, If you eventually put the dog in the back yard of the flat why didn't you just do this in the first place?? Even I cannot stick being in a non-moving car in this humid sticky weather so there's no way I would leave my German Shepherds in the car. They are best left at home...
