Anyone know how you 'Re-Gas' a portable three way fridge which has stopped cooling?

Have you tried leaving the fridge in the upside down position say overnight? Current off of course, someone told me a year or so back this worked for them, I think it may have something to do with displaceing an air lock if one exists.

Fridge removal irritations (1990 Swift Challenger 450/5)

As already said remove the outside grills, it usually makes it easier to isolate the internals of the caravan from the outside flue effect of the two grills. All should become clear if you remove the grills prior to pulling out the fridge.

    The old chestnut TYRES

Hello Prof John L, I've taken on board your advice which also the chap at ATS seemed to hint at in the same vein, especially if I had the 8 ply tyres fitted. So I'm confident I'm on the right track. With hindsight and knowledge gained from this forum it seems that last year I finished up with...

    The old chestnut TYRES

Hello all,I think this could be some sort of gimmick to get caravaners to accept a lower standard of tyre, I did notice on my quest for 6 ply that motorhomes had a different rateing. In perhaps my ignorance I would consider a caravan to be far nearer to commercial use than modern car use, It...

    CARAVAN BRAKING

A few years back I had a similar problem on my Alco hitch. It turned out to be a collapsed rubber ring washer that takes the initial shock, it's located round the shaft and is about 1/4" square in section.I sent away to Alco gave them my hitch details and they sent me a replacement problem solved.
