    finance help ?

When you buy something on HP dont assume it is actually HP, some car dealers who have dealer finance, you are taking a personal loan to get round the thirds and halved clause. I have cleared finance on caravans before and as long as you pay the HP co direct there is no problem. I would also...

    Truma Temp Sensor Position

relays may be easy to change but the circuit board can be a right sod to get out and even worse to replace

got called out to Stealth today

They have only had it a month or so and all the bother has been with stuff fitted to the van rather than the van itself

    daft question really

If the handbrake is applied fully(vertical on ratchet system and past the flip-up point on strut type) there is enough tension to re-apply correctly adjusted brakes if the caravan rolls backwards. If you jack up one side to demonstrate this you will not release enough tension, if you do both...

    truma fire

I have repaired 2 carver 3000`s and an 1800 due to coming adrift from the floor, and every truma fire front that has a screw in is above the wheel and the wheel isnt balanced. Lack of wheel balancing in my view is the cause of a lot of damage to caravan equipment

    Fridge running on gas

the top cover allows for this

    servicing

Nobody. Pay your money, turn up for a week and you are a caravan engineer. We have one up here and quite frankly he is a menace but the dealers love him. If it is used as a stepping stone to AWS then fair do, but most dont and just muddle through. That is my opinion and experience

    condensation

If you use the cooker you will get plenty condensation as this is the only non room sealed appliance in a caravan. Underfloor flueing is not allowed anymore.

Swift Challenger 530 SE 1997, tyre pressure

Be careful,I have come across correct tyres which were rated at a lower pressure (44psi) than the original tyres fitted to the caravan which were max 63psi,and the handbook recommending 54psi. Check with handbook/manufacturer for correct pressure then check tyres max pressure.

    Trumatic S3002 automatic ignition problem

The smaller two pin connector goes to the microswitch in the gas valve, the larger one is for those hard of hearing to fit an led in the casing to see when ignitor is firing
