    Bye..

Sorry Scotch lad, but the forum has become what the magazine is. Predictable and repetitive. The mods have even deleted messages from Lisa and Maureen, for mentioning another forum i presume. Maybe see on on another forum, or even better on a site one day. Before i do go though i thought you...

    Bye..

My apologies to the two Swedes whom i seem to have offended the other day. My comments were just meant to be a bit of 'banter' and were meant to be taken in jest, as i'm sure were the some of the comments by the Swedes about us 'driving on the wrong side of the road' etc. I must admit i did...

    Removable towbars

Well thats one reason, another is you don't crack your shin on a removable towbar or get grease on you trousers if you brush against it, Gavin.

No, said the man...they're all at the funeral! (It's all about the timing!)

    Men only Forum

Thought this would be a good joke for the men only forum; A man had great tickets for the World Cup Final.. As he sits down, another man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in The empty seat next to him. "No," he says. "The seat is empty." "This is incredible!" says the other man. "Who...

honda crv is it any good for towing

I've not long sold my 2003 CRV and wouldn't recommend it for towing. The nose weight is only 60kgs and yo certainly know you've got a caravan behind you. Then theres the mpg. You have to work it pretty hard to keep it moving even on the gentlest of slopes. Combine this with a tiny petrol tank...

    Blair Drummond - Stirling

Thanks for the replies. We're just back from a long weekend there. I agree with a lot of what Kenneth has said. There were a few of the best pitches taken up by seasonal caravans, and the showers were maybe not the best, but i use the shower in the 'van, and my wife and kids used the family...

quick n simple to put up awnings

What about the Ultima 260/390. Doddle to put up, lightweight, easy to keep clean and won't break the bank, Gavin.

    Blair Drummond - Stirling

We're going there on Wednesday for a few nights. Friends of ours who have arrived there today told me that they overheard the guy on reception tell someone on the phone that they were no longer associated with the caravan club. Can anyone confirm this?? The only reason i ask is because it's...

    Showers, the pits

We used our 2006 Swifts (end bathroom) shower for the first time last month at a site in Lossiemouth which had filthy showers. I am now converted! Plenty room, 2 showers per 40 litres of water, and a much bigger space to dry yourself. Don't ask how but i felt much cleaner using my own shower, Gavin.

    England -v- France Rugby Match

Wrong shaped ball for me! With Scotland beating France twice at the football, , we've been distracted from that other game called rugby. Shame it'll all end in tears....... Gavin.
