Hi Keith I think I actually looked at these today in the shop, they were Milenco and had two screws on top and two straps that wrap around the mirror and fix on the bottom. I though they looked a bit small for the Xtrail (did not have it with me to try) as he straps did not look very long...

O.K, I did not think they would be much cop, I am even more convinced now so thanks. I took a look in our local caravan shop today, surprising the only mirrors they had plenty of were these 'suck and see' mirrors, pretty much everything elese was sold out.....do we have a caravan boom looming...

Message for John, these Smat mirrors, when you say clamp is that screw down or loaded by a sprung strap. I have been looking around and they all seem a bit small? I did notice some that screw down and was worried that they may damage the mirror paintwork?
