Front locker leaking fix - suggestions welcome!

If the dealer cant/wont help , then one test is to open the locker door and gently pour water down the front of the caravan , even without the door pressing on the seal it should deflect water around the seal if not then the seal is faulty, reseating may help and applying soudal fix all or...

Dometic RM 7371 No Spark on Gas

The dometic 'brick' has failed , simple as that . don't try and reduce the spark gap , the probe is tungsten and wont bend , you will either crack the ceramic insulator or snap the probe. The ignitor brick is approx £130 to 160 (Hilbre outdoors via ebay seem the cheapest at the moment also...

I have a mitsubishi PHEV plug in hybrid and the two batteries -one is 480V for the drive inverters and the other is 12V 58A.hr car battery and the two systems are completely separate, so much so that as the 'car' battery started failing I have had to jump start the car until buying a new...

    New Fridge possibly?

The insurance company has nothing to do with it I explained to the customer the options - new fridge at £798 and second hand with me warranting it for one year at £275 , alternative fit a domestic compressor fridge at about £277 and cap off the gas supply. In my insurance terms and...

    Truma CP25-UK Error #17

I was out at a van today and took a closer look at one after your post and yes its a non return valve not an pressure relief valve as I originally thought ( never seen a faulty one yet) Well everyday is a school day on this forum!. didn't like the look of the drain/air inlet pipe below the...

Dometic fridge igniter won't push in

Martin_E I was replying to borderbilly not the OP. Borderbilly showed the a picture of the battery type drilled out to get at the battery. I agree with you that the OP has the piezo ignitor which either he not pushing hard enough or its jammed

    Truma CP25-UK Error #17

I am in agreement ,but when attending such errors I always check the air circulation fan runs and the air combustion fan also runs, before looking for bird nests in the intake! and as I said often the Truma flags up the first error it sees and as Sherlock Holmes once said "Once you...

    Power tech motormover

Overcurrent implies the motor is at fault ( or output cables) not the driver , the electronics have detected the overcurrent , and shut down to protect the driver transistors.Based on my experience with motors I would say a winding on the armature is shorted to another winding. To check this...

    Truma CP25-UK Error #17

There are two fans on the combi the one that draws air in and circulates it around the caravan can stick ( the brushes inside lift off the commutator) giving the impression that the air off the heat exchanger is really hot caused by a blockage , giving it a gentle tap with the handle of a...

    Truma CP25-UK Error #17

You are wrong there as the pressure relief valve( Red valve) is at the top of the water heater , the heater will fill with water( the cold water comes in at the bottom ,as with all water heaters) , but instead of providing pressurised water ,the flow will be reduced as some of the hot water...

Dometic fridge igniter won't push in

I still think you don't have the battery ignitor , I have just replaced a battery in a dometic 5310 which has a battery ignitor and taken these pictures showing the a, the knob in situ, the knob half out and c the battery inside removed the knob . I think you have the piezo igniter.
