Dometic fridge issue

Hi,
I’m after a bit of help with my fridge. I have a Dometic RMS8551 fridge. I’ve gone to get the caravan ready today and when I press the power button to turn the fridge on it beeps and the power source lights flash briefly and then go out. The fridge doesn’t come to life and if I press the power button again I get the same behaviour. Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

I only know basic stuff so apologies for this. Are you on EHU and is it working. If not, is the gas turned on and there is still some left in the bottle.

Hi Mel, I’ve tried both, and swapped the gas, just in case. It’s the brief flash and then nothing that’s confusing me, if it was lighting up, with maybe an alarm, at least I’ve have something to go at
 
I am going back to basics, can you check what the voltage of your battery is, if it's below a certain voltage then the 12 volt power to control the fridge is not there and you will get a beeping warning.
