    Bailey Senator California

Do you mean the 12 volt sockets? The problem is that the TV etc is all hardwired in so no need normally for such a socket, as the radio has MP3 input we decided to have an extra 12 volt socket put in beside it so that we can charge the iphone and itouch when we are using them.

    Bailey Senator California

We too have just ordered a California - we noticed the lack of 12 volt sockets, have asked for one to be put in next to the radio for charging the iPod/iPhone. We are having our satellite transferred to the new van plus having the satellite box (12 volt) wired into the space next to the TV...

    Which layout

Have you looked at the Bailey versions of the 570 - the Sancerre and California? They have wrap around seating making the lounge area feel very spacious and they are lighter than the Swifts.

    Bailey Sancerre

We looked at both the Sancerre and California at our dealers before deciding on the California. Think the woodwork in the Sancerre would be a either love or hate decision, personally I didn't like it. IMHO it looked rather like the old cheap furniture finish from the 70's. Jan

    Bailey Customer Service

We take delivery of a Senator California next month - I have e-mailed Kelly twice with questions and have received a reply almost by return both times. BTW the TV supplied in our van will be a is now an Avtex, hope this means they are better quality. Jan

    Aviemore....Glenmore Park !3th Feb 2009

Your dog will love the walks from the site - make sure you go to Loch an Eileen, you can walk to it along a path on the Aviemore side of the campsite, lovely spot, especially early morning. Also one of the access points to the Lharaig Ghru walk. There is a good walk from the same spot up...

CC&C Sites Luss and Milarrochy Bay

Depends what you want to do whilst there - Luss is easier to tour from, Milarrochy Bay is very close to the West Highland way and lots of walking opportunities. Midges shouldn't be a problem, the season is June to August.

    birmingham caravan show

We too are waiting till later in the year mainly to see if the Eccles upholstery is changed. Certain things are on our list of "must haves" such as heavy duty legs, gas point, alarm which rules out the Europa models. I'm hoping that they change the upholstery next season and bring out a...

    Camos crank-up

We have the Camos dome type fitted to our caravan, very good bit of kit, takes about 3 minutes to lock in to the satellite, not affected by wind or snow etc. If the wind up is half as good as ours then it is worth buying. We went for the dome after seeing a friend continuously have problems in...

    Forest Holidays Aviemore

The toilet blocks were completely rebuilt a few years ago, very good facilities. the beach is a 2 minute walk from the site (obviously depending on pitch you are on) and is very gently sloping (you will have a job to get out of your depth in most of the loch). there is a very good woodland type...

    Bailey or Swift

We were in the Sterling Ruby at the recent show at the SECC in Glasgow - cracking van, really good design and well built. Took one look in the Bailey and didn't like it, somehow they look more old fashioned.
