we've got one of those type too, poles go on out side, so easy to erect, got a doberman, so is ideal size for his bed, table chairs and elec. cool box, only down side, can't use poles for coat rack but thats nothing
if you want one as close, Barleylands in Basildon/Noak Bridge, or Homestead Lake Park,Clacton or Silver Road, Burnham on Crouch, we stayed at the last 2 but only passed Barleylands as its 2mins from home, hope these help Jayne

the wind has been our problem this year, went to york in june, while putting up the awning it blow right over the top of the 'van, bent ppoles and bend aerial, not put us off but would like better weather this time!!!

going back again next year last time we stayed in ulverston at bardsea leisure in the south lakes can any recommend a quiet site, no club, bar etc., for us must take dogs
we went for 10 days in late june, site lovely, basic loo and showers but water hot and no charge, our only problem was the force of the wind at the time, not too much shelter from it, york is a lovely place to visit, even the dog came too, on the bus and on the steam train to 'heartbeat' land...
bought the waste tank tablets, for last holday put in required amount for size if tank added water as stated, poo-ey!!! any body else used then, so much better for transporting no chance of spills and not so smelly, but not so good for job, any one else tried?
