    screw in awning pegs

Many thanks for all your helpful suggestions - I have taken the plunge and ordered a set of "Megapegs" - will update once I have tried them although if any of you see a 65 year old lady waving a cordless drill and cursing fluently it may be me!

    screw in awning pegs

Has anyone used these - are they any good? I have taken over most of the "heavy work" of caravanning since my OH is getting older. Most of it I can deal with but hammering in ground pegs for our porch awning is hard work especially on hard standing pitches and I am trying to make life a bit...

    Levelling ramps v wooden blocks

We have both wooden blocks and plastic leveling ramps (left over from motorhoming days) - we prefer the wooden ones as we find that the plastic ones have a tendency to slip away if used on gravel or the dreaded "plastic in the grass" so called hard standings favoured by some sites.

    First trip abroad with van!

Camping Igueldo near San Sebastian is very good - on top of a hill outside the town but a regular bus service from right outside the site. We stayed there in December 2006. Camping Sopelana near Bilbao is a NO NO!

    ASCI card

We used the ACSI card several times in France while motorhomers. We bought ours from Vicarious Books - we got the card which comes with a sites book listing all the sites which accept it and give discounts. Each site has a price range in the listing. We also bought the ACSI DVD which has a...

This may be a silly question....

But can anyone tell me what the "animal" is which appears on the Avondale logo - I think it is supposed to be a panther - my OH says not. Please can anyone settle the argument for us!!!
