I am of the same opinion that the fixed tow bar looks like a pigs ear and did not want to have it fitted. I think i will go for the detachable and keep it all looking neat and tidy.

my presant tow car is a 2.0 tdci mondeo on a 52 plate.on starting from cold the engine seems to miss/hesitate when you first pull away.also on the odd occasion it will do this when warmed up.has any body else experianced this or know what the problem is.

i have since removed the turntable it was held in place with what looked to be silicon sealant. i used a hairdrier to warm up the sealer and then gently pulled the tunrtable off.it left beind a small amount of silicon on the shelf which i cleaned of with white spirit.

i am led to belive that the turntable for the t.v. in our swift caravan is held in place with double sided tape.i would like to remove it so a microwave can be put in its place. has any body had any experiance of doing this,if so how was it done without doing any damage.

We are about to spend some winter months in our caravan, can any one recommend suitable heating for the awning,either electric or gas.Mainly to be run at night to prevent the cold and damp.

we are new to caravaning and just getting to grips with all the various kit etc. our caravan was supplyed with a blue 7.5kg gas cylinder, do we have to continue to use this type or can we use the red cylinders.if not what is the difference.
