Problem with that is you need to have a phone signal - get to an area of bad or no signal (like round most campsites ) and you've lost your navigation abilities. My satnav is on my Nokia but installed locally, so can be used anywhere, regardless of phone signal.

I only notice it very occassionally and then only when solo when you see that gap in the traffic you just 'have' to get into. When towing, that situation never arises because everything is so much slower. The other advantages of an automatic far outweigh this minor issue.
