    help with lafuma recliner

Just bought a Lafuma RSX recliner mail order - can't walk out how to recline it! I've tried just leaning back but it doesn't shift! The only way to recline it I've found so far is to get someone else to push it back whilst I'm already sat in it. Anybody got any tips on how to get it to...

Can anyone suggest a site in or near Doncaster? We may need one urgently next month and possibly for a long stay, so it would need to be open all year. Many thanks Pam

    Coachman Vip

We have a Coachman Pastiche 500/5 which we got new a year ago. Its our first caravan and we've been delighted with it. Its going in for its first service in a few weeks - we haven't had any great problems with it at all. Pam

    Jockey wheel up or down

We always have our jockey wheel down when on site, as we use it to level the van from front to back. Likewise, we've always left our jockey wheel down when in storage, although I can't see why it would be a problem to leave it up if you wanted to. Pam

    Caravan storage in Bedfordshire

Just moved from Calvers after having some problems with them (won't bore you with the details!). Many thanks for suggestions. We've gone further afield to Northey Bank, just outside Peterborough. I've never come across a storage site with so many helpful features (as well as being a reasonable...

safe to use 'van toilet during stops?

As a relative newcomer to caravanning (only our 2nd year), please could you tell me if its OK to use the caravan toilet during a stop in a journey? Normally we stick to motorways and use the service area facilities but would like to use more non-motorway routes when towing. Our only problem is...

    First awning purchase

Like you, we were new to caravanning last year. We bought a Bradcott Classic and found it very easy to use. So much so that we've also now bought a Bradcott porch awning too! The Classic is easy to erect - we had a good look at the awning and the instructions at home before erecting it on site...

    chrysler Grand voyager

We've been towing our Coachman Pastiche with our Chrysler Voyager for the past year and have had no problems. It was our first year of owning a caravan and my husband (who does all the towing) found it very easy to tow with, especially when using the cruise control. You've got the added...

cleaning the outside of the van

This will be our 2nd year of caravanning, so thought we'd start by cleaning the outside of the van first but there are so many products to choose from, we don't know where to start! What do people find works best? Do all products have to be rinsed off? Ideally we'd like something easy to use...

    C.C. or C.C.C?

I'd suggest joining both for a year. This way you can try sites through both and see which you enjoy most. We've just done this for our first year of caravanning and actually enjoy sites from both clubs, even though they have a very different feel. Caravan club sites tend to be more formal but...
