    towing twin wheel base

hi stuart One of the little problems with towing a twin axle long distances is remembering that its there,it really is that stable. Its not impossible to manouvre it but very hard work although me and my wife have managed to reverse it straight in to position, and we aim to go to level sites.

Hello to all the freelander and 4x4 owners

hi We've got an L200 warrior which pulls our senator montana beautifully we can shove what we like in the back, including two dogs, helped a few people bogged down in the lakes earlier on this year.I just love driving it.

    L200

the grand cherokee's were always top of my list but once we'd seen the warrior we were smitten ,but common sense has entered the fray now and we're even considering not having a new one after all which seems rather a boring option.Really have to go with what the boss says as she drives a lot...

    L200

thanks for the replies. We are presently towing with a 2.2 frontera which manages ok but i find i end up playing leapfrog with the lorries on long motorway stretches and wanted something a bit more powerful but not too much expensive.took a L200 out today really liked it but gosh its big,

hi I've ben reading up on all the tech specs on these cars and the kerb weight is a bit less than expected so for towing our baileys senator we would be over the 80% limit, although the towing capability of these cars is 3000kg.So can anyone tell me if i can tow a baileys senator (twin axle...

hi has anyone visited the haven site in grange over sands in the lake district, we're going up there on friday and the directions say "turn left at the village square".as i'm new to towing this sounds a bit scary as i'm imagining trying to manouvre around tiny cobbled streets.Just wondered if...

Filling our Water Reservoir (or not!)

hi john we've got the baileys senator and when we fill the internal tank from our aquaroll it started pouring back out way before it was full, we used a longer hose off the external pump so the water was going straight into the tank i'm just about to change the length of pipe from the inlet...

    4 x4's

we have a 4x4 albeit a2.2 litre frontera but we barely do 4000 miles a year but wouldn't change back to a car for lots of reasons one being the need for a heavy vehicle to tow our twin axle van.Its just another freedom of choice being taken away from us surely we pay enough wit all the "extra...
