    Tyre Blow Out!

Another vote for the Tyrepal system Works perfectly, parameters can be inputted by user and gives instant warning of deflation or overheating. Best bit of kit I have bought in ages.

    Quality of dealers

Same goes for Caravan Servicing as well in my experience. We used a mobile company to come and complete our caravans annual service last year. What a couple of morose individuals they turned out to be. More interested in sitting in their van smoking / drinking tea / getting over a hangover, than...

    Caravans destroyed.

Last week a caravan caught fire, and the fire spread to two adjacent vans on the Sandford Caravan Park Dorset. Apparently it was caused by a gas leak and subsequent explosion. We are seriously thinking of turning off the gas at the bottle, every time we are away from the caravan in future. May...

    Ground Anchors?

Been looking at getting some decent pegs for our porch awning. Delta Ground Anchors keep appearing. Are they worth the money............or just a gimmick?. Any other suggestions / ideas please? Thx. Simon

    Caravan Weight. Carefull.

We did the same with our Venus 320/2. Took it to the local weighbridge and shock horror was 60kg over. After a major thinning out and another visit managed to get it spot on. IIRC the quoted payload figure is before items like battery and motor mover etc. are added, so in reality the payload can...

New caravan owner - security help needed :)

Just stick to your insurance companies requirements to stay covered, IMHO do not spend a wedge on the latest "must have" security gadgets.......they who steal caravans will crack it in seconds. Save the dosh and spend it on Stella or similar!.

    Tow Covers

Caravan is very secure, alarmed / tracking etc. etc. Parked in the front garden, in very quiet rural area. Just want to know what the pro's and con's are to leaving it on all the time.

    Tow Covers

Do people usually leave the cover on when not actually living in the caravan. Ours is parked on the driveway, wonder if we ought to leave it on all the time or not!.

    Thetford toilet flush?

Great, another good idea. Will give the bleach a go. Many thanks for the advice.

    Tow Covers

Looks like a cover from above the window down, and a good quality carnuba wax treatment above the window to the start of the roof. It was not road dirt, but bugs.......and what a job to get rid of them!.

    Thetford toilet flush?

Makes sense, they had been using blue!

    Tow Covers

Oddly enough was going to ask exactly the same question! Just got back from a few days away, ant the front of the caravan is a real mess. Even T Cut had trouble getting rid of some of the marks, so I think a cover is a must. As always, there seems to be a plethora of different types etc...

    Thetford toilet flush?

We were on site this weekend when a neighbour asked for help. Caravan about 4 years old. They were on their first trip out since October last year. Everything worked fine apart from the toilet flush. The system had been drained down and flushed through prior to the Winter. Turned out...
