The nearest decent site is the CC site at Hargill House, Gilling West its just off the A66 and only a few miles directly south of A St. John. If ever searching for sites I suggest you try the map search facility at www.ukcampsite.co.uk - it locates the club sites, commercial/private sites and CL's.
