    Awning advice please

Hi eatonl, with Isabella you defiantly get quality. The thing is do you want to pay that much. There are other makes that are just as good and cheaper. You have done the best thing by asking on here about the awnings. I have not had an Isabella so cannot answer for them. I have had Outdoor...

    Nissan xtrail power loss

Hi JonnyG, of course you are right about the wear and tear, most of the parts I have replaced are exactly that. Its just that it does spoil the feeling when you want to just drive for a few months without pulling another couple hundred pounds out. Mostly its the cost of the parts for this type...

    Nissan xtrail power loss

I have my Extrain for a year and half now. I wish I had never seen it. I have spent over £1500 on it, brake discs all round and pads, SCV changed twice in two years. Presure rail sensor, Front bottom suspension arms both sides, Drop links front end, Rear wheel bearings, Front...

    route advice

Hi andrew. If I were you I would bite the bullit and go onto the M5. This way you just turn of the Burham junction then intoi the town. We usually go there this time of year but because of a big operation I cannot drive that far. The motorway down there is a lot better than up here in the north...

    Extra TV outlet?

Hi, I did a similar thing at home. It will work but only if you use one TV at a time. You will loose a lot of signal if you try to run two tv at once. I am not sure if an extra signal booster would overcome ghat problem but no harm in trying, you wont blow anything up.

    Towing with nissan xtrail

Hi, I am towing with a Nissan xTrail di, 2.2 deisel. I cannot give any advise about weight but can do about towing with the car. I have found that the turbo kickes in at 2000rpm which is near to 56 mph in 6th gear. The mpg will drop a lot if you go over that. I find I get 43mpg normal running...

    Black Sabbath

Hi Fithawk, although I am not a fan as such I used to listen to and enjoy their music back in the 60s and early 70s. The old vinyl seems to give a better sound to their music. Stewart

    Delamination

Thanks for pointing that out. I have not wrote it out very well have I. I am intending to go up one day and drill the holes ready. Then on the next morning put the stuff in the holes and the pegs then just come home leaving it to set up. Go back a few days later and finish it off. Cheers Stewart

    Delamination

Hi Jupiter, Sir sprocket has spurred me on to do mine. In our caravan its in the front where you sit and covers about two foot long and nearly the width of the seating area. I have ordered some stuff of ebay to do it. Its just the one pack stuff though. There are two different types on ebay. I...

    seasonal pitch electric charges

wends64, we have a meter and pay as we go. We can pay weekly or monthly even yearly as the site is 52 weeks a year now. We have a standing charge of £30 a year for the "Admin" of the bill and service to the bollard. The bollard has a meter in it for us to read and keep a check on what is used...

    Plug in Power Modules

Its the last part of his question in the quote I cannot understand. I agree that the forums should be a place of information gathering and where questions should be asked. I am sorry that someone has felt I was heavy handed in my reply. As it stands, Wilbury does not have a caravan or tow car...

    Plug in Power Modules

Really not sure why wilbury has posted here. he has no caravan and his car at the moment, a 1.4 Polo would not be anysort of tow car anyway. Reading his last post I think he might be just a wind up person.

    Plug in Power Modules

Hi Wilbury, are you talking about things like "Chipping" and "Plugin" modules that alter the original running of the car. If thats what you are asking I use a "Bluespark boost control. Its just a plug in module and you can adjust it to help on economy or lower end torque. You can get them from...

    help

Hi dafydd, yes it would be ok, "BUT" when you have the caravan raised the same amount as the decking then make doubly sure that the caravan is safe and will not move at all. You most likely need extra blocks under the legs because of the extra height. I have stayed at sites where the hard...
