I recently had the caravan tyres replaced and was surprised that the tyre fitter used a trolley jack underneath the Al Ko side lift jacking brackets. Is this an acceptable jacking point or should the trolley jack have been positioned under the axle orr axle plate? I would welcome comments...

Many thanks everyone for your responses. I hadn't realised the solution would be so simple. I shall purchase the adapters you each refer to. Not only is the solution more secure but I shall no longer feel the draught from the window on the ventilation setting.

Yes, we bought the van new but we're not provided with any adapters. Does that mean that we can convert to a TV facility if we purchased adapters?

Our 2013 Lunar Clubman has a satellite connection in the battery box. We do not use a satellite but wondered if I could convert this to provide a connection to an external TV aerial instead of bringing a co-axial cable through the caravan window. Would this work? The emptying blade for the toilet bowl in the above has become very stiff and is difficult to open and close. The manual recommends lubricating the seal with a silicone grease or spray and refers to an OKS 1110 grease or OKS1111 spray. Can anyone tell me what these are? Many thanks for any help.

Many thanks for your response, Sprocket, which gave me the confidence to take a cold chisel and hammer to it. A quick sharp tap did the trick. I'll now lok out for some silicone grease to avoid it happening again. I really appreciate your help.

When I tried to raise the aerial at the weekend, I could not budge the locking nut on the aerial's internal post. I have since put WD 40 on the thread but still cannot release the post. I fear that brute force will result in expensive damage to the aerial or the caravan. Can anyone suggest a way...

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. Of course I had completely forgotten that he could use gas! Whilst he has been un able to resolve the electric function he will use gas untilhe can arrange repair when he comes home. Roy

Yes, it is the water heater and it is the RCB to the water heater supply that keeps triping out. The van is on site in Filey, Yorkshire
