Sounds ideal for my upcoming needs, I have just secured a seasonal pitch from next March until November. Do you think it would be up to the job for long term use? obviously the van would be moved every now and then for the sake of the grass on the pitch Simon

I Have one of these, Its a Maypole Roof cover, Seems to do the job, Quite happy with it, It was only £50 as well I unscrewed the spike from the Ariel and unscrewed the cowl from the heater vent and placed a cut down 2Ltr coke bottle over the pipe. :pinch: Simon

Why can't or shouldn't the roll mastic be used on the roof straps, is it strength issue?

Hi everyone, A quick question, I want to reseal the two joints across the roof, one at the front and one at the back of my van, the sealing strip is 25mm wide so do I use 32mm bedding mastic on a roll? I'm assuming the 19mm mastic would obviously be to narrow to be effective Simon

A new pump sorted it out, a bargain at £49 incl shipping, (Shuflo Trail King 7, 20psi) its now lovely and quiet and only operates when the tap is on, obviously... and takes a fraction of a second to switch off once the tap is turned off :)

I'm toying with the idea of going this weekend, Broadlands Estate, Romsey Hampshire. Has anybody been to one and is it any good, worth going? I think it is quite a small show, No major players seem to be exhibiting in person as it were just local dealer etc Can anybody shed any light? Simon

Yes I suppose it does, there goes my theory, it does take a lot longer to shut off when using the hot tap,

The pump seems to take a long time to turn off when the cold tap is closed, It sounds like its labouring quite a bit and even sprang a leak from around the pump. it runs for about 30 seconds from turning the tap off, the next time maybe only 10 seconds, its quite variable... I can understand...
