Does Britain have an equivalent to Route 66?

There is a few good scenic routes throughout these British Isles. Our A66 going from Middlesborough in the east across the Penines and through the Lake District to Workington on the west coast. In Scotland there is the A82 from Glasgow, going up past Loch Lomond, through Glencoe to Fort...

    Sleeping Bags[memory foam]

We put a normal memory foam mattress inside our sleeping bag, because I read that the closer your body is to the memory foam the better the memory foam works.

Lightweight four birth caravans for £3000

You could look at Lunar vans, which tend to be lighter than many others. Cannot comment on their build quality as I have never owned one

If you go to the East side of Scotland you will missthe little pests. They seem to prefer the damper weather and climate of the Western side of Scotland

    Charging Unit on Caravan

Hi MacHighlander, I keep my 12volt charger on all the time I am on site, as this should keep the battery topped up without overcharging it. Should there be a power cut to the 240v supply, then the battery will be able to maintain the 12v lighting and water pump

    Digi Satellite Receiver

Thanks everyone, I will now attempt to connect the receiver with the Sky dish which is already on the wall, and I will put the Labgear dish and LNB in the van, and when we go away with the van I'll take the box and remote from the house. All this technical stuff is not good for us of the older...

I have just bought a Labgear Satellite Kit from Screwfix and the instruction book is asking to select Transponder parameters along with Frequency and Symbol rate. I have looked on the various web sites advised, but I cannot find this info. Is it listed as something else, or can I just ignore it...
