    Rock and a hard place?

If that is worrying you, just drive for 10-20 minutes at quite high revs about once a month, and that will burn off any deposits. My mechanic mate has a rather charming phrase for this: something to do with a rag, and rude word for a bottom is mentioned somewhere. Jim.

How do you take your money to France. What is the safest?

We take about 100 euros, or what is left from last time, our Nationwide Credit Card to pay for "stuff", (without charges), and our Nationwide Flex Card to get cash from the hole in the wall. We get charged for this, but not exorbitantly, and we get a very good rate of exchange. Some folks use...

    Holiday in The New Forest

No ideas about sites, but as the ex owner of a collie cross, I used to sit on the top of a hill, throw the ball down the hill, and our dog used to love retrieving it. Dog tired and happy: owner not completely shattered. This idea has not been patented, so please feel free to use it. Does not...

    German Clean Air zones

Just out of interest, would a 2006, 1.9 VW Sharan meet the green badge requirements ? V.5 particulates of 0.026 g/kWh. Regards, Jim.

    Hypothermia?

It is better to put plenty of insulation on top of the air bed, rather than underneath. Air is a pretty good transmitter of heat. Jim.

    August travelling in France

Val, sorry for jumping onto this post, but after Vierzon, do you go through Nevers and Moulins towards Clermont Ferrand to avoid Tolls please ? Just curious. Also, is it better waiting for the 2012 ACSI disc, rather than ordering a 2011 one ? We already have the 2011 book. Many thanks, Jim.

The Answer to People Cutting Across Your Pitch

You can tell that isn't a CC site. No warden would allow them to be so close together. Fire hazard. Jim.
