Škoda Octavia Estate first drive

Well a friend of mine who is a para medic and the vehicle he drives on the job(excuse the pun) is a Skoda Scout 4x4 with well over 250,000 on the clock and speaks very highly of the vehicle,
 
I like Skodas. My first ever car was a Skoda Estelle in hearing aid beige.
We've had a Favorit Estate, a Skoda Octavia saloon and our current cars are a Superb Estate and a Yeti.
Never towed anything with them but they were all good solid workhorses that lasted for 10 years plus (except the current pair, which are pretty new).
We're looking forward to a review of the Kodiaq as a tow car when it comes out next month.
