Has anyone else got a 90 or 110? I noticed when I ordered that it's unlikely that my Milenco's will fit but that you can just flip the mirrors out further using the mirror arm. If you tow with one of these what do you do??

Hi Martin
You are right in what you say - you can flip the mirror arms further out. I used to do that when I towed with a 110. Basically the mirrors have two settings, one is with the arms at approx 45 degrees to the door , the other is with the arms at 90 degrees ( although when set like that the nearside one can be a bit awkward to see).
The other thing you can do is slacken the ball joint at the bottom of the mirror head, cant the head over and then re-tighten.
If these options do not work for you then Land Rover do sell longer mirror arms ( intended for the Military vehicles which have the spare wheel mouted on the side). They also sell spacer blocks to go between the mirror arm and the door mounting.
Hope this helps, if you need any help with part numbers please let me know.

Thanks for that Nigel, have printed it off. We'll have a play around up at storage when the beast arrives (not until Nov)

Well thanks to an old posting on a defender forum that I found via good ole google I have the easy but effective answer!!! take the rubber pads off the aero mirrors and the ball on the end slots into the ridge on the outer side of the mirror holding them securely in place! We tried playing about with the arms this week and neither of us were really happy with visibility for pulling out on the motorway but are now as happy as warthogs in mud!
