When the 240v system is working everything on the Van is fine,if the power goes off the 12v system won't work. The leisure battery is fully charged the charger is working and the inline fuse has not blown. The Van is a Sprite Alpine 4 2013.The lights on the control panel also won't work.

Hello Swifty,

I'm not sure how I missed your posting. Perhaps you have already resolved it by now.

From your report, it suggests the 12V battery is somehow not connecting to the 12V circuit in the caravan.

Its very difficult to diagnose such problems in detail on a forum, but often such problems are either fuse (which you have already checked) of the setting of the control panel switches that make the connection. You should check the instructions on the caravans user manual.

Its always worth checking the battery clamps are on tight, as a loose connection might measure voltage fine, but be unable to pass enough current.

If non of the above resolves your problem you will get a quicker resolution by engaging a caravan engineer to check everything out for you.

Have you pressed the small switch press button located in the power supply unit box. It needs pressing in to activate 12 volt systems.
