12v TV,s etc

Being very new to caravanning what is the best way to run a portable TV etc on 12v (it is a 12v or mains tourer tv). There is no dedicated 12v sockets.

if you are on a mains hook up then run of the electric.a 12 v television if run off battery can flatten a battery quite quickly.most caravans have a dedicated 12v socket in the van,what make and year is the van

Its an ABI Sprinter GT 1999.

There is no 2pin sockets in the caravan only 3 pin.

Therefore if you are not on electric hookup can you run items should as tv from battery - what do you use?
