13a power socket

The 13a power socket that is fixed to the outside of the van, the one that will be in the awning, has a flap cover.

Well as Pat was watching the TV I plugged my laptop in to the outside socket and fine, all worked until I needed to get the plug out, now my hands are not as nibble as when I was 25 and I had a bit of a struggle to get it out with out electrocuting my self, is there a plug with a handle on ?

Many chemists stock them I have one on a disc cutter to pull plug out quickly

Before my mother passed away she obtained some special plastic straps which went around a standard plug and formed a handle. This had the advantage of being able to put them on any standard plug without having to change the plug. Could also then be used in hotels, etc.

I still have one and it's called 'Plugmate' which I have just Googled and there are plenty around.
