Hi everyone

Just joined the forum after browsing for some weeks. We're looking to buy our first ever used Motorhome and had our minds set on the Autosleeper Nuevo for some weeks until we visited the NEC show a few weeks back and had our eyes opened to the Van type options with garages! So far we've discovered the Burstner Travel Van, Hymer Van 522 and the Adria Compact that meets our expectations as we'd like to stick with sub 6 metre if possible so that I can drive it too! Are there any options we've not considered that anyone has any views on? We'd like the garage as we will be travelling with 2 bikes and a dog and are most likely to have wet and muddy coats and boots to stow! I have heard it said that Detleffs, Euromobil and Knaus also have similar models but so far am not coming up with much in the UK for these options using Autotrader, Ebay etc. Our budget would be under £30K!

Many thanks
Pamela

Hi Pamela Also Autocruise Sportstar on Peugeot or Fiat chassis @ 6.08m or Chausson Flash 04 on Ford Transit chassis @5.99m For Knaus check Lowdam's website, also Dethleffs + Premier website. Euromobil IIRC is an overcab model

Hi Pamela,

Have you browsed our classifieds on this website?
http://www.practicalmotorhome.com/forsale/

Also - there's another big show coming up in mid-Feb 2013, so you can explore all the possibilities!

The Spring Caravan & Camping Show will take place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.

As you're in Sussex, have you been over to Marquis Motorhomes in Golden Cross, East Sussex?

Our Feb 2013 issue will have a fantastic Buyer's Guide with all the brand new 2013 models listed.

Enjoy your research!

All the best from the editorial team.

Thanks for the tip on the Feb show, if we have not found one by them we will definately visit!

Hi Louise and welcome to our Forum!
If you're having trouble posting, perhaps you're using Internet Explorer? Personally I prefer using Mozilla Firefox and lots of people have gone over to Google Chrome. Anyway, here is a message to help Explorer users to post on here. Good luck! Kate
